26 Flights all C-17s continue evac past 24 hours
Only 5400 Americans evacuated. This is the same number from 2 days ago!

Maj Gen Hank Taylor said that all evac flights has been on C-17s. Many C-130s are flying as well it's likely those are carrying supplies to and troops and equipment out.

People are getting notifications that the evacuations are over. Pentagon doesn't expect a military role in the continued evacuation efforts by the State Dept after military leaves Kabul.

Pentagon won't detail the status of any gate.

Just heard the sad news that tens of #US Service dogs which were under care of an Animal Rescue center in #Kabul were not allowed to be evacuated by the #USAF from #Kabul. All were left in cages in Kabul airport to be killed by #Taliban as from their point of view Dogs are sin.
