Mask exemptions for school children in Onterrible

I’ve had my kids pulled out of school since the start of covid. First bc school closed and than due to my issues with their covid protocols. I had been hoping they could return this fall. They were dangling the carrot of 70% vaccination and restrictions could loosen, we’re at 80% plus for the first dose but still all kids have to masked. I reached out the school about an exemption and I have to write a separate short essay on why each of my three school aged children can’t be masked and it will be reviewed by their “mask panel” and I will be advised of their decision.

What the eff??? I’m so sick of this nonsense… it’s been a year and a half. Kids don’t get to take a year or two off their education with no consequences. I don’t even mind home schooling them but they miss friends and teachers and activities.

Ontario, where kids come last always.
