Problem is with extremist Christians who take every words in the bible in their basic context.

There's a reason why Jesus was speaking in parable. He was well aware of his audience capability. You don't talk to 1st century peoples the same way you talk to 21st century peoples.

Imagine Jesus saying word like vaccine, nobody would have understood what it even means. He could only use things in relation of the peoples experience, thus the hand and forehead.

The hand probably means accepting to act in the name of the beast, You are the hand of the beast, the actor. The head probably mean accepting is philosophy and spreading his lies.

The beast is the beast system, the cabal. As a sign of reverance you will need to accept his mark to be able to work, trade, buy or sell.
