Congress (House and Senate) both voted (100% in favor in both houses) to fund a shit ton of things in the first COVID spending bill. One of those things was vaccine research.

Trump is a narcissistic ego driven blow hard, so of course he made it all about himself.

But Trump didn't have a damn thing to do with making the vaccine. Congress gave the money and the Big Pharma scientist went to work.

Who knows but so far i have yet to see anything from Trump trying to push the "vaccine" on people.

Now on the other hand had Trump got a second term 80% of the left would have refused the "vaccine" while most Trump voters would have still refused. While the left might find it hard to believe most people who voted for Trump are not blind followers but did so both times because the alternative was far worse.
