The only thing I noticed that was completely empty was the spice section. I guess Americans panic buy more than Canadian? I LOVE GOD AND CHRIST! <3 We’re all in the same game; just different levels Dealing with the same hell; just different devils |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 27625565 United States 08/04/2021 11:07 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I work for a major meat supplier delivering food to the stores, and we just are not getting the products in to put in the stores. I ask my supervisors whats going on and they just give me BS excuses, like it was a planning issue. Or just dont give me any kind of answer. The shortages were getting better, since last year when the plandemic was in full force, and now the are starting to be at the same levels as last year. |

User ID: 4104364 United States 08/04/2021 11:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Not to mention the very noticeable price increases across the board. I did our weekly shopping today - Aldi and WM. My wife has been doing it the past couple of months, but I went today. I was shocked…everything, EVERYTHING, was at least 10 - 20% more expensive than just two months ago. I know what I pay for the common staples, and my total today was through the roof. I shop smart, wisely, and generally go for whole foods and base ingredients. Quoting: Larphillips Yeah it's bad Was checking on clothes for the kids, a $10 set of new boys pajamas are now $15 Used clothes on Ebay not much better. Used to be able to find women's used levis for 12 or 14 bucks, now they run almost twice that. I know much of the increase is for fees and shipping, but damn. Anonymous Coward User ID: 53679540 United States 08/04/2021 11:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'll be glad to see when all the darky neighborhoods start to starve. Let them leave their ghettos and riot, we'll be waiting for them! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79698064 This is a stupid & self defeatimg attitude. Why do you want people to suffer who have NOTHING to do with what a small fraction of the population in collusion with corrupt public servants and multinational corporate interests are trying to do ti this country. If you could overcome your racist instincts for a moment and think about it, do you really want kids to starve? If your answer is yes, you need to work on yourself because something is seriously off. |

Quoting: Larphillips Something is seriously, massively, existentially wrong. It's probably due to a variety of things: 1) Covid-19 since last year, the Delta variant and mandated mRNA vaxxes this year. 2) Government checks encouraging more people to not want to punch the time clock. 3) A lot of truckers retiring and potential replacements not wanting an exhausting on-the-road job. 4) China shutting down last year, flooding this year, and the ruthless post-Mao burghers of Beijing playing a lot of games. 5) A Bidenized DC and Silicon-Valleyized corporate world forming the perfect marriage made in hell. Good times. |

Most people latch onto the one that they can most accept and tune out the rest. No one is taking any action to resolve this. No one is seriously investigating why. And it continues to worsen by the day. The fog of all of this has to be intentional. The purpose is to confuse and distract. Whatever the answer, it’s clear that we’re not meant to know. “A person is smart, people are stupid.” “Nobody knows until everybody knows” |

User ID: 78895011 United States 08/04/2021 11:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The last shortage was fairly obvious and there was plenty of time to get what was needed. This next shortage though is going to blind side most people. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79058309 Press hyped the last one to hurt Trump. Press will down play next shortage even if there are riots. Quoting: goliesave they are only $3 at the grocery here. id like to buy 50 and freeze them. would that work? $3 cause they are the days before. so they are cold. usually $6.99 Start from cold, split in half, then vaccum pack and seal. Use thick vac bags to avoid bone punctures. Smart planning. Another idea is to buy and raise live chickens. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 72539279 United States 08/05/2021 12:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was quite surprised to go unto a Walmart in an upper middle class area and find massive holes in stocked items that I haven't seen since the beginning of this pandemic. Quoting: TidesofTruth I just didn't think we were there yet. Not to mention w Walmart's ridiculous staffing problems. I just don't understand why we are not hearing more about this as if the media is considering this the new normal or somehow the American people deserve to live less than now as punishment for not unfulfilling hëir bidens dictates by July 4. Anonymous Coward User ID: 80684702 United States 08/05/2021 12:40 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Local Walmart has the same issues. They blame it on two things. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80376300 #1. In most cases, they have the food in the back, but not enough workers to get it out on the shelves. #2. SOme suppliers are running low on stock and cant fulfill orders - which is also likely due to the fact that they cant get workers to make the products. This is just what I was told at my local walmart, coincidentally...today. "The workers" you say. Are they dedz already? Maybe they starved due to z shortages. Vicious cycle. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 46473516 Canada 08/05/2021 12:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The Department of Agriculture is actively trying to suppress food production. I base this on two informal interviews: A beef farmer from Illinois, outside Chicago; since last year, he has had to destroy cattle. Why? To sell his cattle, it's law that a USDA inspector has to observe the animal walking (to rule out mad cow), and give some other blessings. In his town the local l and the federal inspector are the same person. He wouldn't show up for work due to COVID fears. Another problem my colleague said was that the meat processing factories closed because 90% of the workers had covid. Second, the owner of an auto body repair shop in NE Ohio told me (when I pressed her for what types of auto parts shortages to expect), she has several customer who are farmers. They claim the Dept of Ag sent them letters offering them above market payment for them to destroy their crops, or not to plant at all; they offered to come destroy the crops for them with Agent Orange. She said one client is independently wealthy, and refused. So Dept of Ag showed up at his door with satellite images of his property, claiming it was swampland, and declaring 20 acres as Environmental Protection zoning (although the land was dry). |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1201318 I, I, I, Me, Me, Me It's all fine and dandy however it's going to take groups sticking together He is telling you what HE is doing for his family and YOU better start doing for yourself as well. The thing about "groups" is that YOU have to contribute or you will be out of the group. So what are YOU YOU YOU doing? |
