Quoting: Irredeemable The flies are way worse. They are everywhere. It's not just my house. It's every house I work in. Early heatwave in May, followed by milder temperatures; but mostly dry drought prevents a glut of the bloodsuckers this year. Quoting: Rzymo Yeah that'll do it in your climate for sure. They moved down from the smoke but also my friends room mate was vaxxed against his will, when he was the hospital for pneumonia, if he agreed to something he didn't do it consciously because its on his chart now. And nothing stings or bites him. But my friend and her dog, were feasted on. Think the insects only prefer unvaxxed. But this year, oddly enough, only saw a couple of mosquito's. I guess it's just area driven and probably how much rain your area has received within the last couple months, probably combined with humidity and colder nights draws them stronger "He who strikes terror in others is himself continually in fear." - Claudius Claudianus. Anonymous Coward User ID: 79505077 08/03/2021 08:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Mosquitos seem normal, but the flys are off the hook this year. And they are big too! Sometimes I walk through the shaded grass and dozens of flys just spring up out of the grass. Quoting: glp-smilies Same here in Indiana. How did the flies get soo big? Mosquitoes have been dwindling down the past few years and I have not even seen one Bumble Bee all summer, no joke! |
