I've lost ALL my respect for the Jehovah's Witnesses "the society" as they call it

In his speech, he praised those that "comply" with evidence but condemned those that look at alternative news and do their own research. Really??? Doesn't the Bible say "search things out and prove it to yourself"? YES IT DOES!

OMG!! No way!! For decades they were against vaccines! I was one for 10 years I left in 1997. We both know the reason why they don’t take vaccines, so what makes this vaccine any different? I’m blown away!

Over the years I have learnt how important it is to go with what your intuition is telling you to be right.

Clearly your intuition is telling you that something is "off" with this group.

The Witnesses have fought each other for control of the society since it's inception and flip flip their dogma based on who has control over it at the time.

Their latest scandal involves the theft of quick build funds from the individual congregations to be surrendered to the Society who will decide when and if you need a new Kingdom Hall. Numerous elders and overseers have been disfellowshipped for raising concerns and filing lawsuits over the matter.

Ask the Seventh Day Adventists why they branched off and distanced themselves from the Witnesses.

My parents joined this group when I was a kid. Everything changed for me. I might have left the family and organization as a teenager, but all the bible teachings stick to me this day. I still call my dad every week and he is 89 years old.

We discussed the shot and the "Mark of the Beast" stuff and he agreed. The next weekend we talked he told me he got the shot and the group is encouraging it.

I am devastated.

This is a tough one

But there are drawbacks

And no one should influence a decision as corporate policy as important as injecting yourself with anything.

I vote find a new religion. They did not corner the market on God Christ or a good belief system. Try LDS. Similar but more independent thinking.

I want nothing to do with those people. My last experience was being friends with a couple who turned out to be closeted swingers. I ended my friendship with them immediately.

He also went on many "retreats" during the year and said that they were religious and didn't count against his vacation days! I had to cover his position every time he pulled this crap. Finally, they had enough and fired him. He came back the next day and said, "My wife says you owe me severance pay." The boss laughed in his face and thew him out of the building.
