I can't drink any alcohol. I overdid it in my younger years.

So I like to mix up ginseng, kratom and other healing plant formulations.
I was in the kitchen enjoying some lemon tea when I felt you nudging me and telling me to get on GLP.

So you haven't at least had a joint them?

Boring.

I'm not making it to bed anytime soon, methinks....harhar.

I lived in FL for 15 years, and I was so very happy to get out of there. Don't get me wrong, the State is beautiful, I "grew up" a lot while there, met really good people....but it's Florida, the State all the fruits, nuts, and berries slink down into....do you have any idea what it's like to live somewhere little old pink haired ladies think breakfast is a Xanax and a Screwdriver....and they then go out driving?

Despite the hour of the morning, that made my mouth water for one....but 8.5% alcohol?....lol, I'd be talking to Gawd after one of those, two of them and I'd be a sloppy, hilarious mess. And embarrassed the next day, harhar.

I was just sittin' and thinking about it, drinking alcohol. A couple of years ago I got a kind of warning that I needed to cut out alcohol and sugar. It's taken me those couple of years to get to the point they're just about cut out. I've been nearly sugar free for over a month now, and I've already said my peace about drinking....

....and it's not that I was a raging alcoholic, I can't drink for days in a row, I get....well, it just makes me sick. Alcohol IS toxic to the human body, ya know?

Heh, but it's really good I'm not an alcoholic, and this backing down from drinking has 99% of the time been organic....no trials, no begging god for help, I'm fine. I was wanting to have that one beer I did have, but that was also wrapped up in wanting to be out to eat with my kids.

Weed, however....heh, no warnings about that. That's a wholly organic experience.

Thankyou for this interesting insight... I haven't often had a normal heart beat in 50 years .... maybe its some of that exhaustion of life going on.. I am going to meditate big time on this statement...:hugs 1::Thankyou Rose:

I didn’t listen to the song. But the concept of being “elegantly wasted” resonated with me. I think we’re all being wasted right now. The elegance of it is how quietly and lethally the One Percent is knocking off chunks of cvilization and how fast it is destroying everything. It’s a real efficient demolition derby. Nobody can really be blamed, nobody can unravel the karmic mess, nobody can stop it. Every day more and more of our old reality unwinds and dissolves.

I don’t like what’s going on, but that would be editorializing.
