I'm feelin' it: Elegantly Wasted
I'm not drinking. I haven't had a drop of the spirited spirits for about over three months now....oh wait, I had one IPA at the wing house when we ate last week. It hit me like a bullet, just one had me ripped. I don't need to be drinkin' anymore.

But I'll tell you, I've been on GLP most of the day, doing my thing....and I am feelin' "elegantly wasted."

So many wrecked folks on here, and I can't help but to want to help....hugs

Heh, and I have my own wreckage I'm dealing with, too. We all have some-something to take care of.

I'm really feeling this song tonight, though. The lyrics are poignant, and the music is dance worthy, which is what I'm going to get up and do.

Youse guyses feeling anything in particular tonight?

Music is a good way to express yourself, especially if you're at a loss for meaningful words....hf

Awww, lovey....hugs

I want you to sit in a chair or lay down, and relax every muscle. Then I want you to breath deep into your lungs....your belly should rise. If your belly doesn't rise, you're not breathing deeply enough.

Hmmmm....if you find a herky-jerky breathing kind of happening while trying to take that deep breath, relax yourself more, and keep at this taking a deep breath until you're able to do it deeply....stress free, eh?

We most of us don't breath properly. Look at a newborn baby, their belly rises and falls with their breaths. Most of us only breath to the top of our lungs. Very stressful for the body. It wants to breath like a newborn....but we're stressed, and our breathing gets all messed up.

It's quite the viscous cycle.

Thank you for expressing yourself, and I hope I was able to help you....hugs

A year ago I would've been down with trying it. IPAs are my favorite....but it's not for me anymore.

After drinking that one I found I didn't like how I felt.

Having a beer or enough to get drunk is going to get in the way of transitioning, and it's not worth it.

chuckle...good place to put the song I was just listening to....hf

I don't know anything about that...but numerous high profile people have died by "hanging" themselves, in very compromising positions.

I don't think for a moment that Chris Cornell killed himself.

And of course their murders would be done in such a sick way, to bring even more scrutiny down on them.

But I don't want to really get into it. I'm trying to relax, eh?

Re: I'm feelin' it: Elegantly Wasted
I'm seeing a lot of people having big, life changing transitions. Just like being picked right up out of life and dropped into one that looks different.
I'm having one myself, and it's positive and I am loving the direction I'm moving in, but letting go of things that just aren't working is pretty jarring. For somethings, I'm asking, why aren't you working anymore? For others, I ask, why did I allow you to work for so long?
But overall, I'm keeping my head on straight and am grateful for the new perspective I am having and truth I see even if it stings. Just have to keep remember to be gentle with myself for making different choices back when I saw differently than I do now, and remember the choices I'm making now are bringing different things, blessing things.

Thanks for opening the floor, I had some words, it's nice to share.
Take it easy

Wow! No, thank you for letting go. It's kinda my mantra in life, just let the shit go!

And yes, lovey, we need to be our own mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers....our own best friend. We need to look at ourselves and take care of ourselves as if we are our own child. Gentle is good, eh?....especially when taking stock of your life. We all fuck up somewhere along the way, or all along the way, and we usually have to face that. I'm glad you're being gentle with yourself. It's the best way.

Heh, just when I thought this day couldn't get any better, I see this post, and it's just tickled me pink....flower
