it looks like fireflies, but google says there are no fireflies in alaska.

and the few seconds where they fly by just keeps playing over and over.

Alaskan here. They are not catching fish like they used to, Our salmon levels have collapsed for the most part. Fukushima. Too painful for us to talk about.
