Fact- The CDC began as a BUG-SPRAYING OPERATION for the US Military,

Their sole mission was to develop strategies to reduce mosquitoes and other disease carrying insects in areas of US military bases on foreign soil in jungle environments. They mostly employed chemists, engineers and exterminators.
