Way back when (20+ years) a bunch of libertarians from around the country chose N.H. as the most favorable state for freedom and moved there by the thousands, I think the county they settled in was Keene maybe? Their goal was to infiltrate the political seats of power and try to ensure the constitution was adhered to and grow their movement.

Yes - I heard about that, it was called "The Free State Project" where an influx of Libertarians moved to the state. I talked to some lifelong NH citizens and they were leery about that too. And, after listening to what they had to say about it, I understand and agree with them.

Here is my observation. The interesting political aspect of NH is that you have communities comprised of different political parties who, traditionally, come together in their communities with their shared culture, values and ideals and come to an agreeable consensus.

It's organic - it's not socially and/or politically engineered. These are people that grew up together for generations - working together to create a community over many generations (many who are related, either by blood or marriage).

I've witnessed neighboring farms - one Democrat, the other Republican - spanning hundreds of years of shared history, who, despite political differences, can agree that there's a common thread of culture (Yankee culture - agricultural values, shared religious values, etc) where they tolerate their differences and at the end of the day can agree on fundamental, shared beliefs. They are the true definition of 'neighborly' and understand they share in their community. I've witnessed town hall meetings where people want to get along with their life long neighbors, they genuinely listen to one another - yes, it can get heated, but they apologize afterwards. Because they're neighbors.

It's becoming more and more challenging in this increasingly globalized world for NH citizens to hold onto their 'good neighbor' ideals. The world is getting smaller and new ideologies are creeping into their traditional way of life - and (in this day and age) often 'race' is being brought into the conversation, making many New Hampsherites uncomfortable because such a concept has never been a prevalent problem here (I'm not saying there haven't been incidents, just pointing out the fact that it's not a prevalent issue).

Their peaceful existence is now being infiltrated with Marxist and Post Colonial ideologies - ideologies that seek to divide and create deep psychological conflict in peaceful, homogenous communities. People who have never had a racist bone in their body are being exposed to this PsyOp of guilt and shame. Tucker Carlson pointed this out in one of his editorials:

I have to agree - the Sununus lean more towards globalism than they do for American sovereignty. He takes a snail's pace in establishing the rights of NH citizens, just enough to get by in the ratings - just enough to air on WMUR. It won't last long though. The more the globalists push forward with their agenda - the more we see those supporting it exposed. They won't be able to hide it much longer.

I disagree with your stance on Trump though - his actions on many globalist agendas proved to me that he was for national sovereignty. I don't agree with the vaccine - I know people who got the vaccine, family members included, and we have agreed to disagree on the matter. However, any politician that believes our government has rights over our bodies and can mandate this is evil. Our elected officials (like Sununu and other Governors) had better step up to the plate and prohibit this gross overreach of government.

Lol - it's been a wet, cool summer. I haven't found a single tick on me this summer. I have chickens that probably eat them all up in the yard - but even when I'm hiking, I haven't found a single tick on me.

However, the mosquitoes have been hell.
