At the time, and until the sixties, Arabs vehemently denied that there was such a thing as Palestine, claiming that it was a Western invention. Which in fact it was, an invention of the evil Roman empire. They claimed that the region was Egypt, to the south, and South Sirya, to the north. This is a fact and is recorded in many documents. Haj Amin Al-Ussehini, tha Nazi mufti of Jerusalem, repeatedly denied the reality of Palestine.

But then the Arabs understood that a nationalistic claim would be a great thing to lure the gullible Europeans to their cause, and suddenly Palestine had existed forever and was their country. The first time the local Arabs were referred to as "Palestinians"the by the UN was in 1970.

They started to claim that there was never a Temple on the Temple Mount, despite previous public documents of the Waqf itself referring to its former existence there as a generally know fact.

They have been excavating on the Temple Mount, destroying any evidence of the two Temples. They are destroying priceless archeological records and the world goes along with it.

There's a Israeli project called Temple Mount Sifting Project, which goes through piles of ruble discarded by the Waqf, trying to save what they can. They recovered thousands of meaningful fragments.

The Arabs can't even pronounce the "P" sound. They say "Balestina", which they then Arabized to "Falistin". So much for being the "old native people", supposedly given "their own land" a name they can't even pronounce!

That was really amazing to watch, I know that country and people from there are unpopular here but I don't care. It was like getting in a time machine. You have to think some older people in that video could have been born in the 1850s and the children as late as the 1920s. I didn't see a sign of electricity and that is probably exactly how the city and people looked for thousands of years. If you could see back to the year let's say 500, it would probably look identical. It's just really fascinating how far we have come, but makes you wonder if it is really for the best.

The problem with the common Arabs is that they are mainly an oral culture, they are story tellers. Then they invent a story and continue to repeat it until they finally truly believe the story they had once invented. Which has some nice results in some areas, but is a disaster when dealing with hard facts.

In the wars of 1967 and 1973, the Arab radios throughout the region were day by day reporting astonishing victories over Israel, on all fronts, sea, land, and air. A glorious, long string of victories, until the final defeat...

I guess the ancient Greeks, the Ottoman empire, the British empire, and every other group of people who conquered and controlled that area and called it some form of the word PALESTINE for thousands of years were also in on the con - it never existed!
