My dad was stationed there in the late 80s and ended up retiring there. Half the base is built on a swamp/ old pig farm. The navy housing was horrible. Roaches were infested everywhere and was being taken over by gangs. The place was run down back then and I can't imagine they pumped more money into it.
Virgina beach hated the navy being there. They would refuse service to service men and over charge them.

Japan is gonna get nuked, Taiwan will fall under China's control become crispy fried like Japan, Australia and New Zealand are gonna be Chinese and then the rest of the planet will be turned to glass to prevent China or Russia from dominating. If we live to see the end, it won't be a globalist utopia.
