Human toll aside (and I’m not discounting or minimizing that, just not part of my topic), look at all those trashed cars. Thousands.

Take typical, normal demand…add in the replacement demand for these cars (China AND European flooding)…and expect that the US will likely never get caught up on the computer chips they’re lacking for the auto industry.

China will prioritize their own first. This is kind of a perfect storm (no pun intended) for the Chinese to ‘liberate’ Taiwan and their chip production facilities.

Also, be on the lookout for shipping containers from China brimming with their flood cars coming to a shady car lot near you.

Dude the average Chinese person has done nothing wrong. That's a shit attitude tbh. They are as much slaves to their government as we are .

I don’t know…I’m back and forth on this all the time. EVERY repressive regime is terribly, terribly outnumbered by those they’ve oppressed. At some point, the slaves absolutely MUST rise up. Every minute they don’t, every indignity they suffer, starts to be a responsibility they share.

I don’t blame the victims. I try to be aware of that. At the same time, how long should they continue to take it?

Also, they know that due to insane liberal policies in the Western states, over-regulation and absurd laws will extend the suffering, wreck moral, and hinder any sort of quick rebuilding or remediation. In short, it hurts us far more than it does them.
