Is it just me or does the Blue Origin look like a big erect you know what? Think Bezos is fueling it with Viagra or something..

He wants to go to space, I'd do it too if I was in his position.

Maybe he's done everything for just this moment in space.

Here we go. Round 2 do you wanna be a space cowboy.
I noticed Elon Musk wont be flying on his own companies spacecraft.

That's not exactly an equivalent comparison. SpaceX doesn't offer sub-orbital hops for people. Inspiration4 will be the first orbital mission to feature a crew full of space tourists, but that's not the primary reason the crew dragon exists, it's a side benefit. Don't get me wrong though, the government and NASA want SpaceX to defray the fixed costs of operating their crew capsule by selling seats for commercial reasons, but that's not the vehicle's primary reason for existing. It was built first and foremost to ferry astronauts to and from ISS for NASA, and that's exactly what it's been doing. Crew-2 is docked to ISS right now.

Orbital spaceflight is a whole different ballgame than a brief suborbital hop.

isnt it a bit of a stretch to call Oliver the youngest astronaut ever.
I understand this is high up and 'space' seems to be debatable. But this is hardly what i imagine when i think of an astronaut :-S

Interesting how man has been to the moon and yet one of the greatest accomplishments right now is a billionaire is going 70 miles up. Not following the big deal.

Oh yea i was aware its under NASA contract. I was just being facetious. All three programs serve different purpose and objectives.

It crosses the international line of space, 100 km. Spaceflight participant is probably a better term though for paying passengers who aren't trained to actually fly the vehicle.

Live now, about an hour and a half before launch. Today is the day Blue Origin attempts their first crewed launch of New Shepard, with both the youngest and oldest people to ever reach space on board.
