I never understood why people want to become enemies with their neighbors.

Ever heard the phrase "don't shit where you live"?

Your neighbor knows where all your stuff is. They know when you're not there. Why on earth would you want them to be anything but your best friends?

My neighbors look out for me and my property, as I do theirs. They can be your best defense or your worst enemy.

Turn it down. No one wants to hear you blasting W.A.P. at 2 in the afternoon.

I didn't work out too well for the last neighbor that complained. I turned down my music, then went out to my backyard range and did a bit of target practice. So they called the sheriff.

The sheriff inspected my backstop, then had me turn up my music before going over to talk to my neighbor. After about 20minutes and 4 more sheriff cars, they all left.

They put a for sale sign out the very next day, and moved out the following weekend.

I wonder what the sherriff told them, lol
