I'm thinking someone leaked the outcome of the trial against Ripple. Maybe charges will be dropped and ripple goes mainstream soon. Or maybe just rumours.

my question is why is Ripple promoting CBDC?

Are they going to become one and the same?

I admit I don't know much about crypto but if the Judgment against Ripple (xrp) is dropped won't it jump in value overnight?

Remember it's all a game. The governments of the world could spend one hundred years enacting CBDCs (i.e. A digital account of money) and make them universally interoperable and not get close to completion.
Ripple has the tech, the brainpower and the connections.
The only question is will xrp be used in some guise.
The XRPL is CBDCs. Can exchange any national currency, or medium of exchange (tokenized assets) for any other, instantaneously, seamlessly, fully accounted.
Someone will let it slip, before it's go time.

Who else has frozen all their Aqua for Ice? I have about 100 bucks worth. I was thinking about selling it and gambling on PeePee but I decided to stake it just to see what happens.

Now that Uphold is all in on the XRPL projects do you know of any plans for RPR and Co to be listed?

Everybody seems to forget that Ripple is a business.

If they sell the bare bones of a CBDC to a bank they have leverage to insure the use of their asset (XRP).
It's quite brilliant actually. It's built right into the system. An easy on/off ramp for their asset.

Tbh I think everybody has it wrong about the reason for this lawsuit. IMO the reason they were sued was to slow their roll because they were about the become the Federal Reserve of crypto outside of governmental oversight. The risk of destabilizing tptb's hold on power is literally at stake. So Uncle Sam steps in on behalf of the actual FED to negotiate their cut and to iron out all the details. They've had 2+ years to negotiate all the particulars. And when it rolls out... XRP holders stand to become the nouveau riche en masse.

That's extremely frightening to tptb. Believe me when I say the potential for a massive shift in power/wealth is not overlooked by them. I believe the rollout of XRP will be part of a larger restructuring of the US financial system. It'll be great for those that had the foresight to invest in crpyto (especially XRP). I don't think it'll be as good as we hope, but not as bad as the rest. It might be really bad for everybody else.

No matter what, XRP stands to be the first coin with legal clarity. I'm sure that'll count for something... and probably for a very long time.

But what do I know??? I'm just another jerk with internet access.

A settlement could happen soon, which has always been the most likely outcome.

An outright win is still a while away, but I highly doubt it will happen. Doesn’t need to. SEC will settle before lose, surely that’s obvious?

There's a downside to RPR ASC and ARK being listed on exchanges, because the voting utility and the rewards only function when the tokens are in self custody.

On the other hand there are a lot of people who are too busy or inexperienced to get their holdings off the exchanges.

Falling asleep can't type.

SEC trial ending right around the time the movie Elemental comes out would definitely be interesting timing.
