Anonymous Coward User ID: 77410269 Canada 01/14/2023 05:43 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't think the USgov, nor SEC nor CB for that matter have any "feelings" about Joe/Josephine public. They are strong arming each other for power. If anything comes from the SEC it wouldn't effect hodlrs if it was good, and would only %penalize us if it was bad. Same for CB. It's all about the most money wins. The USgov has clearly behaved in an "ignore all aspects of legal" responsibility for their own. We are not one of them. Quoting: pool Remember divide and conquer. If anything China should go full speed w XRP to weaken the SEC. :tophat: The current lawsuit is fake- theatre to prime the public for crypto regulations worldwide, just like FTX scam with the paid actor fall guy SamB.Fried who will probably get off at a severely reduced sentence, or scot free... Lawsuit settled in 2015 called it a currency, digital bridge asset, utility token, there are many labels but one thing it is not is a security (unlike ETH, or tokens exchanges offer - binance coin anyone?) So you guys know, XRP has been called a currency for years in London & Japan (SBI holdings tons of Japanese banks absolutely love it & own 10% of Ripple) It's theatre, wake up sleepies. All of those idiots 'charting' 3-7 dollar x r p have zero idea what they are doing |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 77873696 Canada 01/14/2023 05:53 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This interview has a very serious vibe, it doesn't seem frivolous to me. Quoting: Vision Thing It seems like the "buyback" idea is kind of a cover story for something much larger. But, that's just my idea, probably based on nothing. [link to www.youtube.com (secure)] One could argue that years down the line, financial institutions, central banks, the big Kahunas would want or need more liquidity- so they offer to buy people's XR P (or offer loan services) but it probably will not happen as coin burn is very slow as it was designed to last many centuries- 1 million parts in each & every one of the 100 billion supply.. It's an absolute behemoth & retail buying or selling has no effect on price, maybe in time we shall see at what price point brings peak efficiency for global liquidity? Aquarius pouring the healing waters of knowledge for all of mankind is an apt metaphor for Ripple with all of its water terminology, xCurrent, xRapid etc This is literally Earth changing yet people focus on petty squabbles & stay stuck in ego-centric delusions Pluto entering Aquarius in March will be very, very interesting for the world, stay tuned ;) |

Patrick hasn't led me down any rabbit holes. I was in them all long before I ever heard of him. I take everything with a grain of salt. This is GLP here right? Why would you criticize something for being a "conspiracy theory" on a conspiracy theory forum? I've been on GLP for 17 years. I can speculate about anything I want to, including about whether we are at war. Are we? Are we at war? At the risk of being baned my 2 cents. First, there are US institutions (in part or whole) controlled by (a) foreign interest. So Riley is correct. This is simulated warfare with currency wars a major part. Simulated by who? More so, simulated by "what"! Of course the buyback guys are a LARP, but what isn't in the So is everything prescripted? Simulated doesn't mean decided, Data is gathered, Algorithms are run. Wait, so what you're saying is that any quantifiable action can make a difference.....Think.....keep thinking. All the world's a stage....stop thinking....act... Many of you on this thread are good thinkers, even great thinkers...but who's in the game? Someone on this thread has stepped up, moved in the right direction, good for her!!! |

Why does that matter? I am curious to know what exchange she trusts with so much money! Oh I see what your question is, it took me a minute. You are asking where I placed my sell orders, duh. I placed them on Sologenic DEX using XUMM. The XRP stays under my own private keys in XUMM wallet. I have successfully had limit buy orders fill in the DEX from XUMM before. I wonder if there will be enough liquidity? Or hopefully I would have enough time to swap XRP to XLM and send to Coinbase to cash out. I have cashed out XLM several times in the last few months and it was very efficient and trouble free. I have used coinbase to cash out to bank account I have used coinbase card to cash out at ATM I have used coinbase card to buy things All worked flawlessly. But I didn't keep the XLM there, I sent the XLM to cash out. And in all cases it was available immediately. They gave me messages saying it would take a week to hit my bank account, but it was there overnight. Last Edited by Vision Thing on 01/14/2023 11:52 AM |

User ID: 85100003 United States 01/14/2023 12:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Genuine Question: Is there currently a dApp that can directly transfer from a wallet to a fiat bank account ? going from an Online Wallet to your Bank account without an Exchange. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84652343 I think XUMM has an app in beta for this in Europe? Not sure. Has anyone looked into XrPaynet? I don't know exactly what XrPaynet is doing. The other thing I have looked into is using the MoneyGram integration in L0bstr to cash out directly into physical cash at a MoneyGram service counter. I have never tried it as the only one service center here locally is participating and I have no way to get there. I had hoped that the service counter at the grocery store nearby would do it, but I guess they are not full service Moneygram. But a person could, swap XRP to XLM and send it to L0bstr, then swap the XLM to USDC and use the integrated MoneyGram account to cash out to fiat. In theory. You can also onboard fiat into crypto the same way, make an order in the app and go pay CASH for USDC at MoneyGram in person. It all sounds really good and revolutionary but I have never tried it. |

Flare promoted itself as decentralized community and their first move is to submit a proposal without any alternative. of course they hold the most tokens so they get the most votes. also, coinbase, binance us, bitstamp, etc hold a majority of the coins that were airdropped and can vote and wrap and delegate before they give out any. You can bet the exchanges will be voting for the proposal to pass because it takes money away from the XRP community and gives to the FTSO. the rich get richer. Just so its clear. The 15% is all your getting from FLR snapshot, The 85% is gone. If you want anything else you have to wrap and delegate and cant touch for 3 years. By design, the eligible group includes people outside the initial airdrop. So the number of people increases, but the same amount of FLR is distributed among them. But this is not a zero sum game.
