We're going to be okay but this is definitely a rough patch.

The other night I cashed out some crypto to fiat for the very first time.

I had never done that before, but XLM went up a couple of cents on the New Moon pump and I couldn't bear to watch the portfolio value go back down again without taking a little bit off the top.

I wouldn't have done it but I needed it to pay this month's bills! I can't believe I made it this long without having to do this.

Anyway I sent XLM to Coinbase, sold it for USD, and sent the USD to my bank account.

They said it won't get there til August 3, I haven't checked to see if it happened to get there faster for whatever reason.

It was worth doing just to test the process.

I was really looking forward to being able to cash out XLM through the MoneyGram integration with Lobstr, but there's a guy on Youtube, Mr. Stellar Moon Man I think his name is, and he did very diligent and dedicated attempts to perform that transaction, cashing out of crypto at a moneygram counter to physical cash, which is supposed to be able to work, but he tried a dozen times and a dozen different locations and only got it to work once as far as I know. He was pretty frustrated about that and not too happy about it. We'll see if they fix it.

Don't know if anyone has tried the opposite, onboarding physical cash to USDC into Lobstr, that would also be extremely useful if it would work.

Thats so weird. I too have cashed out some XLM on coinbase. When i did it, it was instant. My money was in my back account instantly. I did not have to wait.


Speaking of Lobstr, i see a scheduled airdrop for something called ASCe or Ascendium? The airdrop is currently worth 95 US dollars. Another thing is is that so far, ive received 3 of these notifications. Im wondering if i am getting 3 airdrops or just one?

Do you know anything about this token?

the FED issue is just a very small bump on the road --- the reality is --- the FED has no control over the future of the world currencies. Your assumption is based on the joke that the Dollar will still be world reserve currency in the future.

A random crypto story...

Finally got on the HBAR train the other day in anticipation for the native staking but it is not fully functional yet. Also topped up my XDC and SGB which meant I had money back in the game (~ $750).

In recent days there has been some movement with random coins and I wanted in on the action because my bags were turning into stale bread. Saw "Neblio" pop up in the recent movers section on the exchange and I was feeling lucky. Flipped a coin and got the go ahead so I decided to swap EVERYTHING (except SGB) into Neblio.

Cashed out @ 70 cents for a $2.5K profit which allowed me to retrieve my bags + extra. The coin is still going... Currently @ 80 cents but it is very volatile. Might try again if the price goes down but we'll see. Won't be putting it all on the line though lol.

Decided to join the 10K club in regards to my holdings. Now sitting on 10K XLM / XDC / HBAR / SGB / FLR / JASMY.

XRP is behind @ 6K so I need to pump that up. Would be more inclined at a lower price but I like not having money in the game because if something happens I will shed a single tear instead of several.

Going to utilize my XLM bag for some smart gambles. If anybody has intel on the next x2 let me know otherwise I will roll the bones based on a feeling.

I'm not gambling anymore, but if I was, the smartest way to do it is to keep a XLM trading bag for quick trades on the DEX.

That Lobstr airdrop is a scam.

I've been getting ASCe/Stellarium airdrops for a while and converted them all to AQUA.

This particular scheduled one is bad, someone said if you look into it, it sends you to a site where they want you to give them your seed phrase to claim the airdrop?

Bad scam.

Just ignore it and when it becomes available to claim, either convert it to AQUA if you can, or choose to hide it in your list of pending transactions/airdrops.

I've noticed that the flood of airdrops in general isn't quite so frantic as it was for a long time. I stopped even looking them up and just convert them all to AQUA every couple of days. But there are far fewer now.
