Thanks for sharing this amazing footage with us as always Astro hf Are you doing any stacking of the ISS itself from your frames? Oh to have a telescope again, miss fiddling with it and don't miss freezing my balls off in winter trying to get alignment :P
If any foreign minister begins to defend to the death a "peace conference," you can be sure his government has already placed its orders for new battleships and aeroplanes.

There's a stacked version linked in the pinned comment, but I didn't make it the primary version of the video. Rolling shutter artifacts between frames cause it to turn out a little softer than the unstacked version.

Ah thanks. That dang rolling shutter! It has eaten most of my lightning shots as well. No idea how to cope with it. Is there even a sensor without that bane? Maybe you got some good tips on how to counter such a thing as well as bading when videoing a thunderstorm to fish for lightning strikes? Might not be quite up your alley Mutt but I have to ask anyhow.

Nice hologram! I bet you're doing a lot of facetouching with your Mason buddies while you stalk a flat-earth truther!

Just kidding. Great work as always, Astro. Love it.

Nice footage Astro. Do I recall you say you are using the BM Pocket Cinema 4k? I have the 2k Micro, and absolutely love it (minus no built-in screen). The ability to control it programmatically through the breakout cable seems like it would be useful for astrophotography?

Correct, I use the Pocket Cinema 4K. It really is fantastic for bright objects like the space station, rocket launches, planets, moon, etc. I've not used a breakout cable for it, but I do find the Bluetooth connectivity to be quite useful so I can control it from my phone while I'm at the computer tracking a satellite or a rocket.
