So help me God." Quoting: Loup Garou (Title 10, US Code; Act of 5 May 1960 replacing the wording first adopted in 1789, with amendment effective 5 October 1962). Yeah Yeah we know to well. I have not rescinded my oath, but those individuals break the same daily to their benefit solely. So screw them. My family is direct descendants of Susannah Soule/Sole. Georges daughter. George was a servant/slave. That's plenty of info for you all to have a bit of fun with. This country and the people thereof are greatly important to our family. Go Hard! |

Forward deployed right at seven years of it doing humanitarian and drug interdictions after the wall fell. Got inquired by being stupid one time not having my head on a swivel. Not on individual in gov would I step in front of to take a bullet. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78951208 Out of my three boys, eldest is on his tenth year and youngest closing out his four years. Both are leaving due to how liberal and dysfunctional at has become. Eldest said dad, today they would throw you and your buddies in the brigg because your mentality would be to much for them. Sad folks, Sad. I'd take a bullet for you and yours if your good folks without even knowing you. Not for those cowards. Bless, Good. Keep your boys safe. Tell them whatever they threaten them with in September is better than the shot and that the people back home support them. I'm not a vet, but I'm working at being ready to do everything I can for all the vets that have to leave the military maybe on bad terms in September when they make the shot mandatory. I'm going to post this navy guy's epic Twitter breakdown of what's happening to the guys in now in here since it's appropriate and may actually make a difference. https://twitter.com/_/status/1413705439901069314 We should all do what we can to prepare to help these guys if they're forced out of the military in September. While none of us owe any loyalty to this regime, the guys currently serving but getting ready to leave because of the current administration or the vaccine situation deserve our support. Sorry to intrude on a vets thread but consider this me posting on behalf of my brother who served honorably with the Marines through the mid 2000's. He can't post because he's not alive to stand with you in this time of great need for our country so I will stand in his honor (as poor a substitute as I may be) Last Edited by roguetechie81 on 07/15/2021 02:12 PM roguetechie |

But that doesn't change the fact that taking a bullet for another person is logically pointless. I don't know if you realize it or not, but it is actually pointless. On a bunch of levels and for a bunch of reasons. You must be sad lonely and pathetic if you think taking a bullet for a stranger who does not care about you gives your life meaning or purpose. Mir |

Yeah, 7th ID was all light infantry/air assault. early 90's Jungle/Urban ops My unit went to Panama before I joined up. I saw some video that would never be shown on US TV. Panama. Rodman. The being of the nightmares. Wasn't that a gift that keeps giving to the joint Navy and Army ops in the early 90's. Gosh dammit. I could have done without that and West Africa as well. |
