No, *they* tell 'God' what to do. Those who wrong you do wrong because they call the shots and get powerful by being the only ones able to do wrong. God isn't a God of justice at all, and his 'vengeance' relates to the grudges and ambitions of the upper crust and no one else. It's all bullshit, and impossible as a means to inspire yourself unless you're a total piece of shit.

It's all gambling and lies, dude. There's no way to sugarcoat it, and the sort of people who try are all like those guys in the Rolling Stone article who called the people they lied to 'muppets.' Sure everyone dies, but wasn't that always the end of it all anyway? Wasn't the last recourse to anyone's ethical reservations that we're just a rock in space so all is permitted? There's all sorts of tests this doesn't pass, and guilting someone to be your conscience for you doesn't make you any less of a dirtbag.

people are co creators with God and do lots of smiting.. God himself does not smite.

He also doesn't create. God is the name people call themselves when they don't want their smiting to be questioned.

Since we will be by His side by way of His grace, and through His sacrifice to cover our sins, that would be a no.
