Weirdly, high performance cars starting up I enjoy the sound of. I'm sure it would annoy others though.

I turned the beep function off, the lights blink instead. It does get annoying.

Na, I don’t mind the chirping. As long as they don’t mind mine. 😁 Even if I had mine turned off I wouldn’t mind their’s, as long as it gives them piece of mind their car is locked. The remote starters I’ve encountered don’t cause the vehicles I’ve dealt with to chirp, however, in order to start the car it must be locked first, so an owner may hit the button to be sure the doors are locked and then hit the Remote Start button.
The chips don’t bother me I guess because I don’t live in a crowded city center. I live in a suburban neighborhood about 25miles from our city here in Orlando. If it did bother me I’d move to the Country.

Well, there is a reason why I can't sleep in the bedroom at the front of the house. There's constant coming and going in cars, talking too loud at 1 or 2 am, slamming car doors shut 4 or 5 times just for one car leaving.
