I think it's noise pollution.
There's enough noise in the city without constant car honks going off.

And it's not my neighbors. It's cars all day long as you drive past them and their car horn goes off. You don't know if someone's honking at you for some emergency reason. To me, a car horn honk should be reserved for some kind of emergency, usually a driving emergency.

So, if you hear these car horn chirps all day long everywhere all over the city, you become desensitized to car horns honking, and you will ignore an important car horn honk.

Women are always locking their vehicle 3-4 times in parking lots. Just reminds me people (women in particular) are very insecure.

if you need to lock your car door, its time to move. if you need to lock your car door AND you need an alarm, it is way past time to move.

Beeping once or twice when a door locks or unlocks is no big deal. It's the assholes who let their alarms go on forever that piss me off. Same goes for the over-tattooed, roided-up fuckwits in wife beaters driving pimped-out shitboxes blasting ghetto music
