100-year-old woman put in quarantine for refusing vex

So Grandma broke her hip (not my grandma, but a family member’s in-law) and had to go to a nursing home after she got out of the hospital. Grandma is 100 years old, has not had the vexxine, and did not want to go, but the doctors, hospital, etc. insisted.

Because the hundred year old woman hadn’t had the vex, and they couldn't make her take it, they put her in quarantine for two weeks, no family members could enter her room. Luckily, though, she had her phone and knew how to use it.

She was moved to the nursing home on July 3rd, and on July 4th the entire family, kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids all appeared on the lawn outside her window with food and sparklers and spent the day talking to her through the window, easily 20 or more people of all ages.

Grandma has no teeth and couldn’t eat their food, seems they weren’t making special allowances for her condition and she called her daughter to complain. Next thing the grandkids are bringing her meals to the nurses station, and then standing on the lawn to make sure Grandma was eating.

I cautioned many times to make the nursing home know that grandma was loved and had plenty of family, and then the cards started flooding in, the family is at the window most of the day, and her 80 year old daughter is raising hell about any and every complaint Grandma has.

Although Grandma was supposed to stay in the nursing home for weeks and weeks, the nursing home and the doctors had had enough by the end of the week of the family constantly bugging them that they decided Grandma could go home and have her nursing care at home, lol.

So the plan of the experts is to take a 100-year-old woman and isolate and separate her from her family for weeks on end cuz muh covid. Ridiculous, mean spirited, and cruel. I hate this world.

Grandma is home now (still un-vexed) with the family looking after her, and nurses stopping by daily. Look out for your old people, I hate to think what would have happened if the family hadn’t made such a stink.
