Supply Chain Meltdown "Truckers" And The BS Rules!
The thumb screws are on, when account's run the world the world runs down the drain.

A brief look at our supply chain failure, some may say its a plan to starve us out by design! Or maybe a push to bring on those driverless shrink-flation trucks.

Former owner/operator, they're making it increasingly less profitable for small business owners to make a buck and overregulation is taking a toll, pretty soon there will be very few owner/operators left as the cost of doing business goes up, But it will a while before they completely replace the driver, there has to be someone at the wheel that can deal with the unforeseen, because those rigs don't stop on a dime.

Video says it's not profitable for Owner Operator Driver's to use their vehicles under Driver Lease Companies who send these guys out on regular routes where they sit at docks for 6 hours and get turned away.

When Trucking deregulated in the 1980's we lost all the Dispatchers. sveryone schedules their own loads. In the Age of Covid that just won't work anymore.

So this sounds like a logistics issue that isn't coordinating with supply issues. Which could mean that Amazon has found a loophole and a better system.

Impossible to do if you're under a live unload or the trailer is yours and you're an owner operator. Only company drivers or lease-on drivers can get away with this. If you are a company driver or an O/O that leases onto a big company, you are doing the ATA's bidding and you
are part of the problem.

Cannot replace drivers.
With auto drive trucks you can jack a load without hurting a single person. Almost white collar crime.
Just box them in and park.

In the comments a trucker claimed he went to fuel up at Cosco and there was a sign stating they were no longer going to be selling diesel.

Another person stated that diesel would go before gas, beef before pork then chicken.

Who really knows what the plan is, but it does look like this ship is going down.

Unfortunately that is true thanks to the CDL mills trying to fill a "driver shortage" that never existed. They lowered the standards of classes and shortened their length and bend laws all of the time just to get drivers in seats. The result is lower pay and a higher rate of crashes but a fatter bottom line. That's all they care about.
