When Trucking deregulated in the 1980's we lost all the Dispatchers. sveryone schedules their own loads. In the Age of Covid that just won't work anymore. So this sounds like a logistics issue that isn't coordinating with supply issues. Which could mean that Amazon has found a loophole and a better system. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80578405 Impossible to do if you're under a live unload or the trailer is yours and you're an owner operator. Only company drivers or lease-on drivers can get away with this. If you are a company driver or an O/O that leases onto a big company, you are doing the ATA's bidding and you are part of the problem. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32525543 Cannot replace drivers. With auto drive trucks you can jack a load without hurting a single person. Almost white collar crime. Just box them in and park. |

Another person stated that diesel would go before gas, beef before pork then chicken. Who really knows what the plan is, but it does look like this ship is going down. ~~~~~~ A Coward Dies 1,00 Deaths, But A Brave Man Dies But Once. Elisa~ |

They lowered the standards of classes and shortened their length and bend laws all of the time just to get drivers in seats. The result is lower pay and a higher rate of crashes but a fatter bottom line. That's all they care about. To ignore tyranny is to give it medium to thrive! |
