Oh.....also, I don't know if the Earth is round or flat, and I really don't care either way, but we SHOULD be able to discuss it on this site. The fact that the spooks don't even want you discussing it at all means they're hiding SOMETHING.

Look at how flimsy that lunar module is. The shit really is made out of paper.
 Quoting: YHWZDQ 80591416

It supposedly had an aluminium skin about the thickness of 3 layers of Reynold's Wrap, and was pressurized to sea-level Earth normal atmosphere.

In a hard vacuum.

Think about what should have happened, in that case.

I'll give you a clue ---> explosiondead

Years ago I read the account by Jim Lovell who said it was more like a skin or film and very thin. He is fairly tall and had to fold himself up to sit on what amounted to a rowboat type seat and keep from punching through the bottom of the LM. It's just too laughable.

But, the OP is spot on. They tried to sell the public on some hand-wringing about keeping their rock and soil samples to UNDER 8 lbs. Then as he notes, they send up the next one supposedly identical and it's got a car in the garage of the tarpaper shack Lander. Pathetic that every media person still pretends this is all real.

All these astronauts lie about the "moon" program because they're all Intel spooks and this was positioned as a NATIONAL SECURITY project, which is why everyone around it was and is so tight lipped. They've been brainwashed into thinking it's okay to lie to the people as long as they have some big national security goal in mind. And of course, that is more destructive to the US than any outside enemy.

Biggest problem in this country has always been THE SPOOKS.

There's a difference between taking something to the moon and taking something away from the moon.
The lander had more than enough fuel to slow and stop the weight on the way down but without a redesign the lunar module only had enough fuel to get a limited amount of stuff back to the Apollo craft.

They actually left everything they could get loose on the moon to make it back to orbit. All planned and by design.

Unless we are manufacturing on the moon, everything to get to Mars comes from here on Earth and once you get it into orbit, why would you take it to another hole you have to climb out of to put it together?

That's exactly what a permanent Moonbase was going to be used for, as well as extraction of oxygen and hydrogen from the regolith.

It would be the main gas station for Mars-bound spacecraft.

But, it was always a Paper Moon, wasn't it?

But. I do with all the people who have bought into these nonsense fairy tales could all go up in a Mars BusRocket right now, and beat the rush. Just launch and see how far you could go. Would you be signing up for a planet with no air/water/plants/animals but choking dust clouds that would block out much of the meager sunlight. Why?

bump

Someone has to have something say about this nonsense?

A self assembling car they lower with a nylon rope and bam, it is suddenly all ready to go? - ZERO photos or movies of this pretty spectacular event? aside from climbing out of the lander and walking around, this is (should have been) quite an event!~?

dude, they've been lowering devices onto planets since the russians landed on Venus in 1970.

you should really read and try to learn something.

Why build that when we can do it all from here or orbit?

Have you ever looked at the original Apollo mission list and wondered why they didn't finish it? How about the space shuttle?

FUNDING CUTS!

Moon base would have been a money pit for years and there's no sense in building it for a one off to Mars.

Quick and dirty before they pull the money is the most reasonable option these days.

And no, the moon is not paper because if it was we would have very different tides.

how do we determine how fast a bowling ball falls from a 100m height on the moon?

how far away (minimal) should we place a stationary bowling ball from the earth such that it will drift/accelerate naturally towards the moon using the moon's gravity?

what is terminal velocity on the moon and how do we observe it from earth?

1.) Math

2.) Slightly past the equilibrium point which changes as the moon orbits the earth as it isn't a completely circular orbit.

3.) There is no terminal velocity on the moon as there is no air resistance.

Details to come, (if I feel like looking some stuff up)
