Minimal preparation for the grid going down is six months of food and other stuff.

That is minimal.

The food supply is highly linked to the internet. Maybe not the local guy selling eggs and summer produce, but for the vast majority, their food depends on the internet.

Anybody who is not at the very least thinking about and better yet preparing for the loss of electricity, the internet, banking, credit cards, gasoline, etc, is delusional or naive.....or maybe just too poor, or wasteful with money.

No matter how many threads like this get posted all over the web, so many people won't get so much as an extra jar of peanut butter.
