Here in UK we have LIDL foodstore.
Very cheap, quite good.
I noticed in 2 different stores at the w/e there are NO Lidl brand baked beans.
Usually about 22 pence .. 30c, per 400g can. They normally sell truck loads per day.
They only have Heinz brand which is 4x the price and nobody buys.

This is like the number one food staple in UK.

Very very odd. They don't even have the price labels up.
All gone. NADA.

I think you are correct.

Last year when they announced a state of emergency in our state in the USA, almost NONE of the supermarkets put limits per customer on staple items, and of course they quickly disappeared off the shelves for many weeks. I believe that was absolutely a deliberate decision to test the food delivery systems.
