The very specific calculation is probably also relevant in other ways. HairyBarbarian |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 78854005 United Kingdom 07/11/2021 08:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The only way to stop the exponential propagation of cyber-COVID would be to fully disconnect all vulnerable devices from one another and the internet to avoid infection. The whole world could experience cyber lockdown until a digital vaccine was developed. All business communication and data transfers would be blocked. Social contact would be reduced to people contactable by in-person visits, copper landline, snail-mail or short-wave radio. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76735334 A single day without the internet would cost the world more than $50 billion. A 21-day global cyber lockdown could cost over $1 trillion. [link to www.weforum.org (secure)] This is the plan now as to when they do it. LOL!! $1 Trillion is peanuts. USA Debt Clock - [link to www.usdebtclock.org (secure)] USA Unfunded Liabilities: $150 Trillion Medicare Liability: $ 33 Trillion Social Security Liability: $ 21 Trillion Total Personal Debt: $ 21 Trillion US National Debt $ 28 Trillion Plus much, much more. One miserable trillion is insignificant in the big picture. Incidentally, why is the US always referred to as the wealthiest nation on earth? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77905128 It hit me today who the leader and speaker of the World Economic Forum reminded me of, that little bald-headed guy on some movie, a short villain. Comedy villain I think based on a 007 type movie. I can't remember the movie and I have just seen a few clips of it. I know they use one of the guy's pictures at a time on her with his little finger at his mouth. He even dresses like that character, spells like Hitler. The idea of not having internet with his stupid plan is not doable. You don't own anything and everything is delivered to you, even the food you eat, you don't have food at home or plates or cooking pots and pans or spoons, nothing in other words. They will just send you a package if you want to cook a meal, what would you cook it on. Their idea would be Ok if they lived in some very closed-off area and had a warehouse and kitchen close, very close to you. No plate or cups or glasses. It is really one of the most insane ideas I have ever heard. The whole idea is based on the Book Brave New World, it is also made into a movie. The city ran with the slave labor of people they genetically altered to fit their worker position. This is more of a fictional way our lives have been run for a long time, they didn't genetically alter people, no they gave them shots from the time they are infants and before them in my day from school vaccines. Keep the lower halves fighting among themselves over the scraps of societies these Villains really did create of slave labor, your labor and my labor. Sorry I got a headache These are the times that tries men's and women's souls! May we come though it victorious! |

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified." |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79723210 Spain 07/11/2021 08:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If COVID pandemic is hoaxed/ created program - then so too would a cyber lockdown be - so it remains to ask why they would do/ allow that. Quoting: HairyBarbarian I find the last paragraph interesting: “Digital roll back” and continuity plans are essential to ensuring organizations can continue to operate in the event of a sudden loss of digital tools and networks, as Maersk learned during the NotPetya cyberattack in 2017, which took out 49,000 laptops and printers and wiped all contacts from their Outlook-synced phones. -- When criminals get paranoid or to evade capture - they often wipe their phone records or get rid of compromising hard-drives or get burner phones and so on. If tptb wanted to lose a load of info or hide it from discovery - and if they operated on a global scale - this might be a necessary solution. Global power networks would lose money - but not position or power or capability. Its looks like war drill for bio or nuclear war |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80402204 A bunch of people 1000x smarter than you ever will be designed backups upon backups upon backups, the internet cant just break. Just close this thread, its clear you have never worked in a technology role. You have no fucking clue as to who runs the show. They do what they want, when they want and to whomever they want. Period. End of story. Switching off the internet will not be in the main in the technological domain. It will be done through governments ordering ISPs to shutdown for a designated time because of the "rate of infections". WEF call this the "Cyber lockdown". It is a mirror of the COVID operation. ISPs are the shops of the internet at the service level. The shops will be closed down until further notice. just 2 weeks! Liberalism is totalitarianism with a human face – Thomas Sowell |

Just close this thread, its clear you have never worked in a technology role. And people 1000x smarter than us are discussing how to take it offline and force us to disconnect. They clearly have a plan. They want to find ways to control the wild Wild West of the internet. They obviously cannot take it all down, they need it. But you bet your ass they will find ways to disrupt. Notice in the OPs copy and paste from the WEF website… it says in order to fix it we HAVE to take it offline. Which sounds like they will demand it and they literally say cyber lockdown. I’m sure before Covid we never imagined the entire world going on lockdown… right? Voluntarily? To add.... Growing up I learned those who did great things are not much different from regular people. It's a choice through life. That and EVERYTHING mankind builds will break. |

Quoting: Prayandprepare000 That is minimal. The food supply is highly linked to the internet. Maybe not the local guy selling eggs and summer produce, but for the vast majority, their food depends on the internet. Anybody who is not at the very least thinking about and better yet preparing for the loss of electricity, the internet, banking, credit cards, gasoline, etc, is delusional or naive.....or maybe just too poor, or wasteful with money. Just close this thread, its clear you have never worked in a technology role. What would happen if all DNS worldwide servers crashed? DNS is the backbone of Internet, it is unlikely that all DNS goes down at same time. There are total 13 root name-servers each with more than 1 anycast IP and situated in different geographical regions of world. They may not go down at all. But if they go down, you will not be able to resolve any domain name after TTL of domain is expired in your cache or resolvers cache. To understand it clearly 1) whenever you type any domain " [link to www.quora.com"] for example browser looks for equivalent IP in its local cache, if now found, it will look in systems local cache 2) if not found, request is forwarded to DNS server configured in your Network card 3) when query reaches to resolver, it checks in its local cache, if not found it will send iterative query to root nameserver 4) Root name server will return the address of resolver holding entries for zone (in our case com) 5) Now resolver will send query to com server to ask for do you know www.quora.com. Resolver will return quora Namserver details 6) Now resolver will send to quora nameserver to get IP for www.quora.com In this whole process if DNS entries are cached in Local resolver, they will never look ahead till time entries are valid, which is decided by TTL value of Resource record. [link to www.quora.com (secure)] So if there was a virus that spread to computers and made them all start pinging all the dns servers around the world they would crash through the use of ddosing |
