First of all if you live around society there's neighbors, you're not going to just be able to scoop up somebody and kidnap him without people finding out.. unless you live in the middle of nowhere

But I will tell you this, Chester. In Texas, you can shoot somebody for several reasons: self-defense, defense of others (both where you believe a threat exists) and trespassers.

If there's a man outside my window, he's armed. I'm not going to pat him down to verify. I'm not going to look in his hands first. I'm not going to ask him. He's armed, and I'm going to treat him as such.

If they were at a public place, like a gas station. Why didn't parents heard the knock the car window?
If the reason they didn't heard the knock or notice the dude action. Is that they were inside the gas station itself, leaving the 10 years old girl in the car by herself. Which is unlawful in some states.

Regardless if the 10 year old was lying or telling the truth. Her parent did the right thing. By holding a person by gun point, that got another person to notice him, a 10 year of girl, while touching himself in public.

But if the Peeping Tom was caught looking in the girl bedroom window while touching himself by the girl. Then the parent shouldn't went after the guy. But, instead, they should had reported the incident to the police.

But this is the United States, that give the right to anyone to harm anyone that even look in the direction of a child. Even if that person didn't have any intention in harming the child.

The dude was trespassing...at night...and looking in the girl's window and fapping. He IS harming her peace of mind and breaking the law while doing it. The parents had every right to hold him at gunpoint until the police arrived. That he wrestled the gun away from the wife and tried to shoot her is what got his stupid pedo ass shot.

Read the news report, It never said where the incident happen. I was born and lived in Texas. The person has to be inside your home, before you can shoot them. If any part of their body is outside home. Then it's temped murder.

You should know that I'm against anyone that use a child as accused. Saying I've shot him cause he look at my daughter and I was afraid might grab her.

And he likely wouldn't have gotten shot if he hadn't wrestled the wife's gun from her and attempted to shoot her. Why are you ignoring that part?

The news report said that that the parents went looking for the guy. Found him at a gas station and held him a gun point.
Beside, we don't know if the pedo was going to shoot her. It could easily, he took the gun away from her, so he could get away. Anyway, the police must had seen the film on the gas station security camera and they have seen the incident. If not, they will find out when they see it.

Here's more detail of what had happen. It did started at the home. The parents did tried to hold the pedo at gun point in their front yard. Which is lawful to do so, if the person had a commited a crime on that premise. But once the suspect leave the premise, it is no longer lawful.

This is what a defense lawyer might use. That the guy was intoxicated. Didn't know where he was at or what he was doing. True, he did look into the girl window. Was he using sex act, by touching himself in the present of a child; Or was he just taken a wiz; And got caught by the young girl.

Was he at the window or was he some distance from the window, when did the suppose sex act?
I hear by that the court change the charge to indecent exposure in front on a minor.

I wondering if the police did any investigation, by going home of the victims. Across the street of the gas station are apartments. Those kind of apartment are usually two store, which the bedroom would be on the second floor. Which would make it impossible for anyone to look in the bedroom window.

By the way, the trigger of a gun won't move when it is set on safety. If it does, then the gun itself is broken. The woman herself was never in danger in being shot.

Why didn't the wife go in the gas station instead of the husband? Wouldn't it been better for the husband to hold the guy at bay and the wife go in the gas station and have the clerk call 911?
