In Texas you can shoot people in defense of property or livestock and you can shoot any asshole that comes on your property past sunset with the intent of committing a felony crime or theft. If you see someone rolling your riding lawnmower out of your yard at night in Texas, you can blast the shit out of him. The assumption is if you cant see if he is armed, HE IS. But they said Ramos did not comply and walked across the street to a Valero gas station. The armed couple followed Ramos to the Valero gas station, where they held him.
