Whatever. It's just an added layer of sadness to an already sad situation.

Someone cared about that pet. In so many cases, pets are better than people. Unconditional love and joy nonstop.

In any case, the cat was loved and probably had a better life than many people. I am sad it was not able to be reunited with its owner and I feel badly for the owner. I know if this were my pet I would be inconsolable.

This entire situation with this building has been so heartrending. I fucking hate it. I feel such sorrow for everyone affected in every way.

I am trying not to follow news about it as much because it's really doing a number on my psyche. Entire families, their pets, their homes wiped out just like that. I am just so sorry for them all...
