You guys making more of this than it is are ASSHOLES and do not help the investigative community.
The building had huge amounts of saltwater periodically in the garage under the building. That destroys steel reinforced concrete after time. This was a disaster that was decades in the making.
As for the quick demolition? They did no environmental prep or salvage, they only needed to wire columns on one or two floors. All the BS work was eliminated because it was an emergency order.
I live down here and have seen the problems involved with these buildings on the coast. You will see quite a few more abandoned in the near future.

I live down here the problems at this condo were not unique in any way. People are at risk and you people making it into a conspiracy will only hurt the situation. WOW your ignorance is bliss...... They usually spend months going thru and figuring out exactly what happened, ie airplane crashes, other buildings that partially fail, months upon months of studying and u understanding and making reports.. when the Gov comes in and destroys it like this, with no studying of it, they dont want u to see what's really going on.. the real question is WHY. What happened really, why hide it.. another question is how did they rig a building so fast to drop, yet they have all these people digging and rescuing others.. we have always searched completely before demo, yet here they diddnt.. WHY. Dont be a shrill and a stupid freaking sheep. ASK THE QUESTIONS, we have the right to know the answers...
