It's a monitoring and remote access tool used by many companies to monitor and manage their infrastructure, and their customers' infrastructures: Kaseya.

Pretty close to it. I don't know if it has the same impact as the SolarWinds fiasco, since SolarWinds affected government servers. But this one is pretty fucking big.

So basically nothing is secure anymore.

Yet the government wants to force everyone into a completely digital world with brain chips, digital ID, and money.

Companies are so obsessed with downsizing and outsourcing I.T. to third-party centralized systems that this will keep happening over and over and over. They'll never learn.

Companies need to be held criminally liable for the safety of their customers' data.

We are tracking four 8 MSPs where this has happened and working in close collaboration with two of them. Although all four are running Kaseya VSA, we have not validated that VSA is being exploited (not fair at this time to say "Kaseya has been hacked" without evidence.

Yep. It will be giant news soon. Thousands of companies under ransomware attack.

I know first hand, that banking, insurance, healthcare, government... All are affected.

Kinda wondering if it hit my employer today. Was having issues with some servers right around the time news came out about this attack. Internet has been dropping quite a bit today too.

something big is up......... banking would be catastrophic....... can't get access to your money..... that's one way to stop people in their tracks.......

Ransomware is going on in so many places that don't get published....... at the County level that operates the correctional facilities, jails, courthouses, etc.......... they pay out big time, and keep it on the down low.......... i've seen it first hand......
