He looks a little bit like my dad, so I admit I LOL'd. Yeah, it's kind of silly, but if you've still got it at any age, I say go for it! They say 60 is the new 30, er, 40, or something like that! |

When I was around 7 I got a Osmond Family Poster for my Birthday Present. I was in LOVE with Donny! I kept the Poster in my drawer away from my younger sisters. One afternoon I got home from school, opened the drawer to look at the poster and discovered one of my sisters had blacked out Donny's face with boot polish! Devastated! Lol! Thanks for sharing! Loved, loved, loved! |

Loved, loved, loved! When I was 9, I had a big crush on Donny Osmond, too. On my birthday, Mezzo surprised me with a customized greeting card from Donny Osmond. I played it a few dozen times! He had no idea about my Donny crush. This was the best birthday greeting ever! www.americangreetings.com/pickup?rr=y&m=&token=r98029860-1134-48ec-af42-ed2ffe100cef&utm_medium=pickup&utm_source=email&utm_campaign=receiver |

User ID: 8080014 United States 07/02/2021 08:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey, we have a POTUS who is 78 1/2, can barely move, and is confused 99% of the time. So why not? 60 is the new 40 you know. LOL! Quoting: GA Girl No, it's getting more like 120 is the new 90! If I live to be that old myself [and I'm already over 70] I hope I bow out before I become a grinning Baboon like Joe Namath on those hideous scam insurance commercials! I was never a fan, but I gotta' admit: Osmond still has his singing chops and can hit those high notes. Even Sinatra couldn't do that at the end. And when he, Dino and Sammy did that final "Together Again" tour it was heartbreaking to see an obviously very ill Dean Martin still out there gamely plugging away. Sinatra twisted his arm to do that tour because he was so broken up over the death of his son Dino, Jr., who was a military pilot flying his jet when it crashed. But by then Dean had pretty much given up [and left the tour after only four shows]. And Sinatra himself was certainly showing his age that night. But the oldster who REALLY held his own right up to the end was Sammy himself! That little dude saved that tour and the followup "Ultimate Event" and still had the voice -and moves- that had graced stages for over 60 years. And today -along with his buddies- he still dazzles new fans after he's already been long-gone. I tried to get tickets for their 1988 concert in Oakland, but those 15,000 seats sold out in under two hours! I finally found it on DVD but it's a little tough to watch when you remember those guys in their prime. Luckily, I've got those discs, too! Last Edited by GSB/LTD on 07/02/2021 09:24 AM |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72476302 He sounds great. I like the song. Why are you being such a bigot against older people? Afraid to age or your own mortality? Get over it. You are going to get old and die. End of story. Delusional, nostalgic asshat, I’m 42, and would find it extremely inappropriate to prance around like Bieber. At 63 this just looks like a hideous freak show. |
