So... as a purchaser of one of these listings I have direct exposure.

However as a cryptographer I have a very good ability of noticing patterns....

This pattern I notice in eBay listings, hundreds of if not thousands is too good to be true...

and the fallout is going to be caused by automation software.

WHAT I BOUGHT:

I purchased rolls of 100 USPS Forever stamps for: $7.00 a roll

I frequently buy USPS stamps on eBay for 50% off retail. This was a most amazing deal so I purchased a lot....

But wait... should I not see what OTHERS are selling for on eBay at the same time? Is this a scam?

Well I guess it is not as there are THOUSANDS of listings at a close price, so I purchase.

At the posting time of this message at this link you can see what I am talking about:

[link to www.ebay.com (secure)]

And the failure I know this demonstrates (after I ordered)?

All these sellers are AUTOMATED. Someone was hacked and set the sales prices WAY WAY WAY lower. And what happened? EVERYONE selling on eBay with automated software set their prices THE SAME. That means a huge amount of eBay sellers just sold product (legal contract) at a foolishly low price and are going to be obligated to deliver at a loss and it is going to be the fault of whatever platform they using.. and the platform really failed if they do not offer a "sell now price" type of minimum in the event of a price crash...

Anyhow here on good ol' GLP you heard it first.

Not is seems the automated listing (for at least 50% of the listings now) have moved to $25 a coil of 100.

There are still a bunch listing at $7 a coin of 100 so there at least 2 large platforms involved these people are using and they are not 100% in sync.

Tell me online sales is not automated ... most of these people are sipping on the beach. :)

This makes me laugh and chuckle with joy, becuase this is exactly how the auction house works in World of Warcraft, and how I and many others broke the system using automated buy/sell programs.

Real World: Same thing is possible now so you see crazy stuff (and some totally under the radar) where people manipulate all these sales...

Makes you wonder how reliable your 401k or stock portfolio is worth!

Imagine owning a portfolio with a bunch of Dogecoin, AMC, GameStop?

A year ago worth nothing...now Billions!

Ever seen the guy on the auction house selling a feather for 50k gold? Yea people can do that in RL too...

Computers are only good at efficiency....not at making human beings happy, 😂
Always remember these words: Work hard, study well, and eat and sleep plenty! That is the Turtle Hermit way! We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war!

If deal looks to good check when the last time they sold something. What I see is a lot of old accounts are getting hacked and they're using good feedback to sell as much as they can before getting shut down.

Just look at video cards right now half of them are fake.

Who is an automated seller anyhow?

I sell on eBay and list each item myself no problem.

Buying for dirt cheap sounds great to me

Wow, how the hell have you only just found this out?

No you didnt buy a 100 stamp roll for $3.50 you mong! Also sellers arent required to sell...most, usually state not responsible for typos or errors. As an independent e-commerce owner...you place an order and it sits until someone physically puts all your information in...they receive payment thru paypal or whoever and then the person ships it out to you generally giving you a tracking number.
You fucking digital soldiers....

Been a seller on eBay
For 11 years
Decided to quit because of all the hassle
It’s almost like they want to fail!

Your item hasn’t even been marked sent after 10 days and you’re going to wait 4 more before you even say anything?! Why? Do you not actually want what you paid for or are you just afraid of your own tail?
