Moral..if you are involved in a defensive shooting, immediately drop your weapon and assume a safe position when police arrive, especially in a situation like this, where an officer is already shot or killed.

Cops with some years on the force should be looking for plain clothes officers from other agencies that they may not recognize, as well as good samaritans.

Obviously, there are some decent police officers, and My comments don’t apply to them; however, they constitute such a relatively small minority that one must assume in general interactions with law enforcement that, if one values life and limb, one is dealing with the majority.

Especially don’t help by trying to kill someone. Live by the sword, die by the sword.

Small town cops here in New england are pretty nice still. A lot grew up in the area and are just doing their part to help keep the towns safe. Many instances where they will catch you with some pot or alcohol underage and just dump it. Or give you a warning for speeding. The departments are quite understaffed though and the applicants they are getting are rejects from big cities that have full sleeves and short tempers. They are the types who fuck your day up and tell you too bad, you shouldn't have been doing this or doing that. They will tear your car apart because they saw a sandwich bag in the back seat from the cashews you packed for lunch the day before. Cocksuckers.

A friend called the cops cuz burglars were on the roof......the responding cops mistaken my friend for a burglar and beat him......meanwhile the real burglars on the roof heard the commotion and escaped.....

Apparently my friend who is hispanic has limited vocabulary and he's an excitable guy.....when the cops showed up, he ran out to greet them to point out where the burglars were.....cops thought he was attacking them.....luckily he didn't get shot, just bruised up.....

Around here if you call the cops ... be prepared to have them Shoot YOU, or Shoot Someone Else IN YOUR FAMILY!!

YOU are better off, and MUCH safer, to watch some criminal blatantly carry stuff out of your neighbor's house, or steal their car, than to call the Cops.

Around here if YOU do see in crime being committed BE PREPARED TO DIE YOURSELF if you call the cops. We have a bunch of Trigger Happy MFer's around here and they end up shooting the people who called in the report all the time.

‘My goal today is to kill Arvada PD officers’: Excerpts from Arvada attacker’s letter, surveillance video released


ARVADA, Colo. (KDVR) — Police have released excerpts from a letter written by the man who shot and killed a police officer in Olde Town Arvada on Monday.

According to APD, the incident started at 12:49 p.m. when the shooter’s brother called for a welfare check on his brother who he said was going to “do something crazy.”

Police went to the shooter’s apartment at 1:08 p.m. and tried to contact him but left after 10 minutes.

As the officers cleared, a call about suspicious activity in Olde Town was made. Officer Beesley was dispatched at 1:30 p.m. and arrived at the square just moments later.

Beesley parked on Webster Street, according to Arvada police, and walked through an alleyway. As he walked westbound the suspect, later identified as 59-year-old Ronald Troyke, pulled into the area in a truck behind him before getting out with a 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun and yelling at him. As Officer Beesley turned toward the gunman he was shot twice by the suspect. Police say Beesley did not reach for his gun or take any defensive actions in response to the gunman’s presence.
