It would need to be quite big to rip steel beams apart. There you go---leveled! https://imgur.com/a/f4CXeJk This is suspicious AF. When was the last time a relatively modern US building just randomly collapsed in the middle of the night? |

If one of those posts fails the entire structure fails. If soil changes slightly over time a natural collapse can and does happen. DoNotCooperate |

Quoting: DoNotCooperate Was the foundation undersized? Was the foundation piles on clay or piles on footings on clay? That building is next to the ocean so ground water can change soil bearing capacity over time. In one of the shots you can see standing water back into the garage through the entrance. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79578855 That was a bomb. Just saw a video of a homeowners kitchen cam. It was an event that took about 10 seconds and you could hear the building crack. Sinkhole. Also what was that crap that look like hail falling on the windowsill in that video? I guarantee you it’s not hail in Florida in June. |

[link to www.fox35orlando.com (secure)] Sand is only the higher levels of soil. The building's piles are built on hard clay or rock. At that area in Florida the condos may be built on hard clay if there is no rock to bear on. DoNotCooperate |

Either residents have been removing walls to increase the value of their apartments (could be) or the builders did not use good support, thus every building the developers and architects made are CONDEMED! Pool and surrounding surfaces look to be intact. Pretty neat little sink hole with no surrounding ground disturbance and a clean slice down the side with the other building faces not showing the same poor quality of theorized poor building quality. Hmmm perhaps only that slice wasn't up to code ehh? Warning proceeding to read this may cause anxiety, poster is indemnified if you proceed. I can't give you the ultimate truth ,it's all a matter of perspective and spin. So I empower you with the gift of discernment. SEE THE TRUTH , KNOW THE TRUTH, FEEL THE TRUTH |

I'd have to search it. I read limestone but not certain. Limestone is soft and cracks easily unlike Granite. Manhatton is all built over granite. Likely water worked away at the base of those piles (pedestals) and the building lost its footing and collapsed. DoNotCooperate |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 79725442 United States 06/24/2021 10:17 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 11m Where is everything that fell? Doesn't it look like a small amount of rubble? Was the garage underneath and everything collapsed in? That seems like it would be even worse. Vaporized - suggestive of an energy pulse. Not the first time we've seen this... October 2017 fires in Santa Rosa were DEW. Every reporter who stood in front of the dusted everything down to industrial kitchens describing it was wildfires and climate change is complicit in coverup of crimes against humanity. Gavin Newsom et al are war criminals, actively involved in the destruction of the country, enemy combatants, as is Pelosi etc, not merely inept or corrupt. |
