I have conflicting reactions about this. The dog eating is repugnant and disgusting. Yet I also know that Adolf Hitler was a big supporter of animal rights. He even favored a mostly meatless diet because he hated humans thinking of animals as food.

IN THE US we put MILLIONS of dogs and cats to death and just dump the carcasses. In China they eat them.

I am pretty sure the reason they prepare it the way they do has to do with the way it makes the meat taste. Probably the same reason the Chinese cook dogs the way they do.

Dog or cat wouldn't be high up on my list for choices for something to eat, but I have eaten cat intentionally and i have also been given dog meat without realizing it before I ate it.


Both were actually very tasty. The secret to good cat is in the marinade process, several days. If you just kill a cat and cook it up it will pull your teeth loose trying to eat it.

Okay, so which method would you be willing to execute on the Animal yourself? I mean if people are that comfortable with what's being done, why not get the personal satisfaction of making the kill? Dogs chew on toys for hours on end because of that feeling. And shouldn't we have live video feeds of constant Animal fighting and Animal slaughter, to feed this endless desire for bloodshed?

I'm not even trying to be a dick about it, that's just how far the divide is. And I used to be on the other side of the gap, so have some perspective. I used to have yours. It was painful to make the leap, but it's far more painful for the Animals, and they don't show us a fraction of what they go through.

Because as for not torturing Animals before they're eaten, they cannot be tortured anyway. Legally, they are just products, and may be treated as such. The laws alone are enough reason to consider that we've been wrong.

Even in cases where it's done "humane", these Animals are standing in line to be killed, and Animals can feel earthquakes from miles away. Pretty sure if you were in a line of Humans with the same fate, it would feel like being tortured to death. Even with an instant kill, like the shotgun-sledge-hammer device I've heard about.

Now why exactly are breads and seeds and vegetables and fruits so "gross"? Besides the fact that on a diet of meat, you can't process carbs.
