A total slap in the face to every honest renter who worked hard to pay their bills. A literal $100,000 handout to 14 parasites. Why would anyone ever honor their debts again knowing that they'll just get bailed out if they ignore them? From many, covfefe |

Quoting: Flying Elvii Total clown world. Having a job and producing is literally a liability, but buying meme stocks and coins is making overnight billionaires. I'm not normally one to say the end is nigh, but this can't continue long. It's simply unsustainable. From many, covfefe |

Guilty conscience you know? It reminds me of 9/11 how they immediately appointed that accountant like person to dole out money and settle accounts. So efficient. |

I know California was posting articles in the paper that people who died from COVID-19 could get reimbursement for funeral costs. Now free rent after all the free handouts this year. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76632117 Except many (if not most) of them don't actually need help...they just chose to spend irresponsibly, and deserve the consequences. With this policy, fiscal responsibility is fiscal irresponsibility. It is literally a better decision to buy dogecoins instead of pay rent, and to be unemployed rather than have a job. Completely unsustainable. From many, covfefe |

Don't even get me started on the whole reverse repo thing. If people understood how that worked, there would be a revolution overnight: 1. Government prints dollars which devalues your money, then lends it back to you AT INTEREST. 2. When they print too much money and the banks end up with excess cash, the fed buys the cash back with bonds AT INTEREST. In the last year, the fed printed half of all money that has ever existed. In the last few weeks, the fed has bought a large chunk of it back at interest. The net result is, the fed prints dollars then takes them back, leaving the banks earning interest on money they didn't earn and don't have, paid for by the taxpayer. It is literally a transfer of wealth from us to the banks. From many, covfefe |
