You as well. hf

Hey LT did you see my book lists that I posted earlier?
 Quoting: Green Witch

Yeah, I checked it out, massive amount of info you have there, fantastic.

Years ago, I downloaded torrents with huge files on similar topics, I found that I never really got to reading them, heh, I like holding a book in my hands.
I have a large amount of books, mostly hardcover when I can find them, and some years ago I collected rare antiquated books on the occult, spiritualism and religion from a variety of authors.
I always love reading good works, lots to learn.

I've read about 85% of my library but then I've been collecting and reading for over 30 years now. At one time I had so many physical books that I could barely walk in my own house. I had to downsize and convert to digital. Now I have maybe 20 or 30 books that are actual paper books lol
 Quoting: Green Witch

Wow, you read that night a percentage of them? Good for you! : )
Funny about you having so many physical books, no wonder you switched to digital!
I’m going to contact a eEbay seller soon who buys and sells occult book, and see if he is interested in purchasing some of mine, I had to take one of my bookshelves down a few years back to make room for guitars and music gear, now those books from that bookshelf are stored in plastic boxes under my bed. There are some real rarities in there, so should be able to make a pretty penny by selling them.

Good idea about Ebay. The right books can make you some damn good money and it's a market that has steadily grown. As for reading, As a child, I had to spend an entire year reading before I was even allowed to light candles lol

There appears to be a lot of support for you here on GLP. You certainly don’t get the abuse a Christian would get if they started a thread similar to yours.

Your argument appears to be that all white, green witches are harmless lovers of nature etc….. what happens when things aren’t right in your utopian World? E.g if someone really upset you - what would you do?

Forgive someone
Turn the other cheek - as we’re informed in the bible.
Love your enemies.
Or get someone to cast a hex on someone?
What happens when a fellow witch upsets you?

Funny you mentioned Gospel. It's not really my thing, but one of my friends turned me onto this vocal group called Home Free and they do a lot of gospel music. I absolutely loved their version of this song:

I haven't been getting abuse? That is debatable lol. You haven't seen the posts I've deleted.

Anyway, witches are like every other group. There are some who will totally wreck you if you cross them, and others who will turn the other cheek. Being a witch doesn't make one immune to giving into anger and seeking revenge.

As for me, I grew up facing intolerance, anger, misunderstanding and downright threats against my life. In my younger days I would have fought you tooth and nail but as I've gotten older, I let things go much easier.

In the past, I have hexed and cursed but it was only out self defense. It's not something I do lightly and it has to be something very, very serious before I take it to that level.

I know. And it's a topic I'd rather avoid but it keeps coming up over and over again.

At some point I'll address some of the darker aspects of the Craft and tell you some of the things the books don't warn you about.

And when I do, that is when you will really see the trolls come out.

For me it's been fairly simple. Don't seek to cause harm, but defend when you feel it necessary. By that I mean, say, pull a nightingale and rest inside a blackthorn tree. Hang a 'beware of dog' sign but don't build an impenetrable fortress.

Then again, if we're talking battle in other places - sometimes it's good to tear the head off a 1000ft tall robot or snatch a 'taser' from a false 'cop' and kick them real hard in to the infinite.

Re: The Witch's Corner
Interesting thread. Do you have a sense or vision for what lies ahead the rest of this year. I keep having a reoccuring dream where it's complete chaos and I cannot travel outside a restricted zone.
 Quoting: Theyarewhowethoughttheywere

I'll tell you what I get but first I need to touch on a subject that often gets people like me into trouble. Divination. I've actually been avoiding this topic lol

What I'm going to tell you is going to sound like a cop out but please read what I say carefully.

First, I hate divination. Always have. Tarot. Astrology. Numerology. Scrying. Any Psychic reading. I hate making predictions at all.

Why? Because they're so damn unreliable and its not because of the methods. All of the methods work and work very well. You have this pesky little thing called free will which can and does change everything constantly and it absolutely sucks for people trying to predict the future.

I'm talking constant changes in the quantum so damn fast that they cant even be accurately counted.

Now you ask, if that is the case how can seers and psychics see the future if it all changes so fast?

They see probabilities. Possibilities. Likelihoods.

Every choice that can be made, is made in probable futures. Science now tells you that. I can key into this and give you a momentary snapshot of what might be.

Think of it like this. I'm above you, outside of your space and time looking down and I see you. You are walking from Texas to New Mexico. You cant see your destination, but I can. You dont even know New Mexico exists.

Now as you walk, I can say with increasing probability that you will reach your destination, even though you can't see it. The further you go, the likelihood increases.

Now at any point, you can stop. You can slow down and even turn around and choose a different path to a new destination. My probabilities and likelihoods all just got tossed out the window and a new set of probabilities takes over.

That is prediction in a nutshell and why predictions are ultimately useless. It's a roll of the dice. It may happen and they may not.

Now, as for the year, I really don't sense much change for better or for worse. I see things pretty much staying as they are until about midpoint next year. Then I get the sense that everything just kinda melts down.

Or a meteor could slam into earth tomorrow and take us back to the stoneage.
 Quoting: Green Witch

You want accurate future telling? Read the Bible KJV. It has a 100 percent accuracy rate.
