To make it brief, a thoughtform is an idea that you charge with energy to do your bidding. Then you send it out into the world. It can basically be anything you envision. For example, if I wanted to create a thoughtform to bring me money, I would envision a creature, like say an animal or a familiar being, then give it a mental task and let it go do its thing.

That's a very short summary but you get the idea
