Why feel sorry for the people left behind when they will be in the same spot they are in when they first arrive in the 1,000-year reign for the ones who will live in New Jerusalem, the GWT location for 'the rest'. In most instances a son (especially the first one) is just like dad for better or for worse. A lot of times not everybody dies of old age and those parts aren't even fixed with the passage of a lot of time. That he will be waiting for you when you follow is about the only relief there is. That is what God was doing in Job:14 as He had watched Satan take everything Job loved. God let him know about the GWT event where all those people would come back to life again, and then they would live longer than the stars above. Grief relieved a little bit. If the New Earth verses from Isa:65 were added in Job would have seen how 'their new home' began. That is for all of Adam and Eve's children that are not alive for the 1,000 years (Job would be part of the living) as they would be in Jerusalem as that is 'new' Jerusalem from Re:21. |
