Why republicans today wouldn't like Ike lol

Ike is a product of the early 20th century, and his views, as they were in the 1950s under his presidency are incompatible..

That is always the control, when trying to figure out how well historical figures would fare in today's politics.


But overall, for the time..
He wouldn't far right wing enough for today's republican base..
These are more like his enemies over in Germany, than like his fan base.
