ive pretty much mostly had money coming in since the corona thing.
the news just said dutch people saved way too much money during the pandemic. money they dont want to spend unless its on infesting or paying off debt :D

youd think the lockdowns etc should have been super bad for the economy

weird stuff. i guess it depends if you work in one of the sectors that got it bad like restaurants and clubs etc. everyone else seems to be doing better than ever.

I can attest that the old saying that the first million is the hardest.

What you need to do is have as much as you are comfortable with invested in tax free vehicles. All of our monthly income is via tax free investments.

another thing is true tho... it takes money to make money, and once you have some it keeps getting easier.
at least.. thats my opinion for now.

took me ages to get out of a little hole and get ahead. and im talking 'little hole' because it was literally less than what most people have in debt. But there was always something. soon as i had some extra money, i lost it on some random bill, something that broke etc.

now it feels like i could make money money off my savings than my actual job. great feeling tbh.
makes me want to help other people get rid of their little debt too.

When I was just a kid and discovered that you can put your money to work to make more money, I fell in love with that concept and still to this day, I do not understand anyone who doesn't do it...

What's exciting is when you can comfortably survive on 10% per year, and we have a 45% year, like last year, a pandemic year!!

Now we are 8% on the 6th month...

Inflation doesn't concern me...

Supply and demand doesn't concern me...

reminds me we used to have paint/art classes and as long as you said that what youve painted is exactly what you envisioned..youd get an A. no matter how ugly/abstract haha
