2nd year of Early loud fireworks every night

I don't know. I don't care. If people want to exercise their freedom by shooting off fireworks that's great as long as they are safe while doing it. Have water ready, don't do it in a really dry area or toward other people's houses, etc.

Investigating for what? Chill out and let people celebrate freedom. They're hurting nobody.

these are not launched in the air. these are loud 1/4 stick of dynamite explosions. last year it was being said to be connected to BLM.

no Karen here. Also sick of them being used to cover gun shots. This area was not like this before. Things are changing but look the same. Its very strange.

I'm all for a show but 1/4 stick at 2 and 3 or 4 in the morning plus all day before that is getting nuts. a guy not that far away just blew himself up making similar things. I am not seeing them on the market. So who is it made for ?

Only in states still giving away 300 dollars A WEEK to people who prefer not to work.

Last year it was 600 dollars A WEEK and the fireworks were off the charts.

This year, I'm seeing a LOT less in Ohio.

Fireworks season is from June-August around here.

In our area we hear what sounds like gunshots and then someone says "oh they're just fireworks". Happens every couple of days.

I would say less than last year but you have hustle men who sell this stuff in parking lots out of a bag. I have not seen or been approached by a single one, same as last year. who is selling these loud explosion makers? are the being given?

maybe the money being there is part of it.
it has become not a thing of celebration of freedom. it is a form of conditioning, covering, or terror inducing.

I can confirm it is being used as cover for gunfire. Just happened tonight. within 1/8 mile. USMC vet, i know the difference in noises. This was a safe part of the city. The bubble is collapsing. Can't wait to move to the country.

I have been hearing this nightly for weeks now. Unrelenting, sounds like gunfire, or explosives, going on all night, every night.

I agree with OP, this costs money, lots of money. Makes no sense. This is not a fireworks show, but constant random explosions….like psychological warfare.

I would guess that some group is funding this and passing them out.

In the past the only time I would here this would be on the actual 4th, or New Years Eve for a few hours.

To the first poster. You are right it has to be co ordinated. it is a ton of money for noise makers. going off all day and night. no fireworks just noise. Not being a crybaby to the AC.

If you want peace and quiet and solitude, move away from these dense metropolitan neighborhoods. Move to some acreage out in the countryside. That's a lot easier than trying to get thousands of neighbors to STFU at night.

are you in demorat or republican area ? these are not even fireworks. no shell exploding making a light show, just 1/4 stick dynamite equivalent. big explosions.

The price of fireworks Skyrocketed this year and the availability is low.

Wholesale prices went up 30% or more. The number of wholesalers that were sold out my June 1st was crazy, places that normally have full warehouses were empty.

It was crazy going to pick up an order and seeing just a few pallets where thousands should be.

I ordered 200 cases from one company and got 28. Other places were going from %5000 minimum order to $10,000

Still another was not taking new customers and limiting us that were prior customers to 75% of last year in dollar amount so that made it around 50% actual product.

The issue is the container ships being stacked up off Long Beach California. Companies have had stuff there since march.
If they are lucky enough to get their container off a ship they then have problems finding truck drivers with hazmat permits willing to pick up and deliver.

Why is there so many booms and pops then ? people stopped getting lumber when it went up 30 to 40 percent... someone with money if funding this. If this was homemade stuff it would not be so consistent in sound. booms and gunshot noises. then actual gunshots many times.

Also if this was homemade, there would be a hustle man with a bag trying to sell you some. this is not the case.

Kids grew up in Chicago, nyc, and LA in the early 80's with gun shots as their AMSR
