US Military prepping for WWIII - building 216,000 square feet of ordnance storage in Hawaii

What's the point in pre-positioning huge amounts of ordnance when such stockpiles are easy to take out with cruise missiles?

I just don't think China has shortage of cruise missiles. They can lob hundreds of them at the magazines and even if there's bound to be a point-defence grid, some of them are going to get through.

So you would need some type of cruise missile submarine to use up maybe 40% of its missiles? lol

Well there are a few of things to consider here for a defensive/ offensive threat analysis and strategic munitions placement.

#1 having more munitions depot's spreads out the supply so that it's not all clumped up in fewer places.

#2 More spread out munitions depot's adds greater reach to our military supply chain.

#3 The United states military has a 100% 3d graphical map of earth with 1000's of military satellites cordinating visual and laser tracking of any object 500 feet above the surface of the earth.

#4 The united states military gave israel the weapon system iron dome. the only reason The United states would do that is if they had a far superior interception system that could cover The united states and beyond.

#5 with the kind of tracking The united states has, for an enemy to reveal it's hand by trying to strike a supply depot would violate the first rule of war. "Never reveal your hand"..

That’s just a little thing for China to get to worry about...

However, if I lived anywhere near that proposed or being built facility, I am pretty sure that I would not like it one bit.
