Those videos were hoaxed, same with the pictures because they needed something to show the public, but they couldn't show what's really up on the moon, so they faked all the Press stuff. To expose film (or digital sensor) for a direct sunlight shot - you will need around 1/125th - 1/250th of a second at f/8 at a medium iso film-speed (100 - 200) Astronauts on the Moon were in direct sunlight. Set a camera to that setting and you won't pick up stars if you point it at the sky at night. Try it yourself - use manual settings so the camera doesn't auto-adjust for the darkness. iso 100 - 1/125th second - f/8 You won't pick up any stars. |
